 I have had this TV for a number of months now and am very happy with it. Let my preface this by saying that I used to sell TVs for a residing and I'm pretty specific about picture quality. (I'm specific about sound high quality as nicely, and don't consider that any of the speakers which might be built into TVs these days are value a darn. I've all of the TVs in my house hooked into separate audio methods, so you will not see me addressing the sound quality of this unit.) Many TVs out of the field have exaggerated colours and contrast, so that they are going to "pop" in the vivid situations of the shop showroom. Once you start up this TV for the primary time, the on-screen show asks if that is being setup for retailer display or house use. When you choose the house use choice, the image that one will get out-of-the-field is absolutely fairly impressive. I fooled round with the settings a bit of bit, but did not find that I had to do much with a view to have a picture that I'm very pleased with. 

The USB community adapter is simple to setup and configure. The internet apps are OK, however nothing that's going to take the place of my iPhone. Then again, I've streamed a number of movies from Amazon (both paid video-on-demand, and free movies from my Amazon Prime account) and have discovered the video high quality to be very near that of Blu-ray. 

When viewing a black (or very darkish scene) one can discover a slight bit of light leakage alongside the corners (significantly the underside corners) of the screen. That is one thing that is inherent to varying degrees with all LED edge-lit televisions, however it is not often visible with this TV and unless one is on the lookout for it, I doubt that many people would discover it to be distracting. I'm not a big fan of the distant that comes with this TV, but a typically use a nicer common remote, so I do not find this to a lot of a difficulty either. 

This TV is an honest worth at the $1200 or so that it was going for a couple of months back, and on the present prices it's a significantly better value. 

Another factor I want to add to the review. The Clear Resolution Enhancer picture engine, whereas not one in every of Sony's extra superior, still does an admirable job on customary definition material. I hardly ever watch standard def sources, but my wife does, and I was stunned at how much the SD picture quality was on this set was improved versus the older Sony that it replaced. I am more likely to watch SD sources now that I find the picture quality to be acceptable.
