Properly, we bought this t.v. in early April and by the end of May, it stopped working. It was fantastic when it worked, however died within 2 months. Fast calls to Sony revealed this can be a common drawback they're having with this t.v. and they mentioned we have to change the circuit board. We waited a pair days earlier than an individual from their native service facility called. That particular person informed us they didn't have the board in-stock and it could be four-7 days. Properly, we're still waiting. They have not been in-touch, we don't know what the hold up is. We've got to chase them continually to find out what is going on on. In the meantime, our t.v. still would not work. (When we try to turn it on, it goes instantly to standby mode.) Soooo upset that we shelled out this type of cash for a t.v. that is defective and Sony isn't particularly motivated to get us up and working again. 

 You are not going to get a MIT evaluation from me. I waited for a few months for the discharge and then purchased the fifty five inch when it became available. All I did was plug within the TV with out making one adjustment. Each friend that watches this TV with me rates it a 5. The 3D is perfect for the lounge - do not anticipate IMAX 3D. The TV is now $200 cheaper to purchase and I really don't care as a result of I'm greater than pleased with the quality. HD viewing on this TV is fantastic. The picture on some of my weekly episodes is so clear that it appears you are sitting next to the actors. It's a very strange expertise to describe as a result of the image is so amazing. For the value, pony up - you will not be sorry.

 P.S. Purchased TV from Amazon. Not one complaint. The supply guys setup the TV and took the field with them. Additionally bought the 4 year guarantee because of my previous experiences with different TVs.
